Hair On My Food Tapes

"I’m ready to go on a trip, got my spacious hazard costume on and have lowered myself into the abyss of psychedelic sound and noise administration. They warned me that once you are in, you won’t come out. If you applied this to sexual intercourse it might be a case of pleasure at first, but might turn tormenting and torturous towards the end. For now I’m sinking in sound sculptures, ones that come across as if I’m Alice and this is wonderland. Strange wondrous creatures are surrounding the ears from all angles, checking me out with a friendly but extraordinary presence, lurking their eyeballs up and down to see what kind of meat they have among their midst.

The feeling is mutual, making me check out all the elements as if they are coming straight out of a Disney movie in which all the characters had been submerged from a bath of pure LSD. You know flamingo-umbrellas, buzzing insects that smoke cigarettes, drumming snails, flamboyant birds, here and there a alien traveling by on a passing star, a mad scientist on a scooter listening to classic radio stuff from other times, water creatures that had fallen in love with fax machines, traditional slapstick elements, hints of electric dance music as generated by chilled out monkeys… it’s a crazy bunch, but all of it never seems to be overwhelming or out to get you, making it a fluffy seduction that might have made this album one that made many listeners disappear.

I had been on the kookie lookout to see if within this fantasy realm there were some signs of other listeners, so to organize some kind of escape action by telling them that their loved ones are missing them dearly.. but from my point within this release I didn’t receive any sign of other listeners unwillingly trapped within this release so far. Maybe they had been accumulated and had become odd sounds as well, but if that’s the case they certainly deserve to stay here as they clearly fitted in so well.

In fact the longer I stay here in this wonder world of sound appliance, I have strong tendencies to cut my chord that keeps me in touch with normal day life beyond this tripping realm. In fact it’s here that I undo my hazard costume and leave it for what it is and was. It’s amazing how freeing that action is, there is simply no better move to walk around freely in this amazing dreamland of audio spectacles.

Everyone and everything here is so kind, so warm welcoming, so friendly and intriguing. I’m really sorry if you would miss me… but I’m going to stay here. And you know what? I’m making it worse; I’m going to incite you to come as well! You won’t even need to have a hazard costume, just come down by clicking the following link.
